in this contrast of hot and cold
i can't seem to find a middle ground
in this battle of new and old
i can't seem to gain a thing. (this isn't about what you think)
if you listen intently
you can hear the sound of honesty
and honestly, it seems hard for me
to take anything so seriously as others
perceive them to be..
i wish you could have my eyes
my life is no game
but i would be the rope
in some tug of war
where obviously i can never win
can i honestly do anything?
am i just the rope in a war game?
i opt to shake
not hit, but they don't go for it
then they would be on the same side..
i hope you hear this and forgive
cause you owe it to yourself
to let it go.

The Basics

Well, my name is Sam, and this is my blog. I like music a lot. I play drums in a band called Hopes High and I used to play drums in a band called Counterfit Pennies, and I also play all instruments and write words for a little side project called Sam On Guitar. Anyway I also like hockey (go Flyers!) and I like video games. I have a Wii. umm...so this blog will cover anything I ever want to write about, future posts are lined up like this BUT I'm not making any promises.
So this is where I will intentionally or unintentionally single-handedly take over the blogosphere, and hopefully after that the world. I will talk about whatever I want, whenever I want, whenever I feel like it, and it will be very cool. Just to get this set up a bit, here's some of the things I have on my mind I want to cover:
-Top Albums of 2007

-Christmas and Opening Presents
-Miracles
-Top 7 Worst Inventions Ever
-Why I already hate PSU's Math Department
that's just a few things I have on the brain right now. Also, I don't want to seem ..autocratic?? but just because something has Christmas in the title doesn't mean it'll come out in the holiday season...catching my drift here? Not trying to be a jerk but I dunno, I don't wanna pressure myself to finish stuff in a deadline you know? We all know things that are rushed are terrible compared to things where people take their time. Probably the reason why a lot of movie-licensed video games suck. Add another topic to the list!
Besides, I have more important things to do than update a blog no one will read. ;)
